Coaching Services Disclaimer

RISE Teen Development provides structured coaching and performance development for middle school and high school students. Our programs focus on building confidence, improving organization, developing resilience, and helping students navigate academic and social pressures.

Coaching services are intended for personal growth, skill development, and accountability support.

These services are not therapy, counseling, psychological treatment, or medical care. RISE Teen Development does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

If a student is experiencing depression, anxiety, behavioral health concerns, or other psychological issues, parents should seek assistance from a licensed mental health professional or physician.

Participation in coaching does not replace professional medical or psychological care.

Parental Consent

All coaching services are provided to minors with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By enrolling a student in RISE Teen Development programs, the parent or guardian acknowledges that:

  • They approve of the student’s participation in coaching sessions

  • They understand the nature of coaching services

  • They remain responsible for any medical, psychological, or therapeutic care the student may require

Parents are encouraged to maintain open communication with their student regarding their development and well-being.

Confidentiality

RISE Teen Development strives to create a safe and supportive environment where students can speak openly about challenges and goals.

Coaching conversations between the student and coach are treated with respect and discretion.

However, confidentiality may be limited in situations where:

  • A student expresses intent to harm themselves or others

  • There are concerns related to safety or well-being

  • Disclosure is required by law

In such cases, the coach may communicate concerns with a parent or guardian or appropriate professional resources.

No Guaranteed Outcomes

Coaching supports growth and development, but results vary from student to student.

Success depends on many factors including:

  • Student participation

  • Effort and engagement

  • Family support

  • Individual circumstances

RISE Teen Development does not guarantee specific outcomes, including academic results, behavioral changes, or admission to particular schools or programs.
